Mrs. Dottie Faye Ginn Edwards age 80 of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born July, 13, 1941 in Lewis County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Leland Woodrow and Bertha Mae Harris Ginn.
Dottie attended Southern Manor Baptist Church. She retired from U.S. Shoe Company where she worked for over 30+ years. Dottie enjoyed watching racing, going to bluegrass festivals, spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Edwards Jr., three brothers, Newell Ginn, Bobby Ginn and Donnie Ginn, three sisters Judy Miracle, Betty Vanover and Jeretha Kinney.
She is survived by one son, Darrell Edwards of Vanceburg, Kentucky, four daughters, Rita Lykins of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Linda (Lewis) Bell of Vansborough, North Carolina, Sheila (Dale) Riley of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Dodie (Jackie) Flinders of Cynthiana, Kentucky, one sister, Sue Lewis of Vanceburg, Kentucky, thirteen grandchildren and sixteen grandchildren
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Esham Cemetery on Oak Ridge Cemetery with Brother Arthur Moore officiating.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
